Question 4

Today’s question is:

What is your greatest extravagance?

I was originally going to say my nails. I do them myself and change them every week. But honestly, I don’t spend a lot on them since I don’t go out to get them done. My ‘extravagance’ is probably all my crafting supplies. I have everything from soap making ingredients and molds, to sewing, and metalsmithing tools. I’ve probably spent thousands of dollars over the years on all my fabric, paint, crochet hooks, metals, and ingredients. The hall closet is full of these things, and I can multitask with the best of them. In fact I was looking at an unopened box of 10lbs of parasoy wax, wondering if I should make some candles today. I didn’t as I decided to work on editing some photos instead (Sony a6000 camera also part of this deal, I think. With assorted lenses).

I guess if I wanted to open a handcrafted art shop, I could supply all the stock on my own at this point!

From left: My sewing machine, queen bee bath bombs, sunset photo of the Palmetto highway, my birthday cake I made myself (and yes the brain IS all cake), and wax clamshells I made with Sailor Moon molds.

What is your greatest extravagance?
